MTV Jacket: Rob Channeling His Inner Rocker?

We saw pics of Rob when he arrived in Vancouver yesterday here.
Eclipse Saga researched and found out that Rob wasn't the first famous person photographed wearing this jacket. Back in 1984 rocker Eddie Van Halen wore this same jacket during the Van Halen tour that year.
Looks like Rob was channeling his inner rocker! ;)
