Rio de Janeiro Scenes Will Last Only 5 Minutes in Breaking Dawn?

Despite the fans and filming noise, Rio de Janeiro will be the scenery of Breaking Dawn for only 5 minutes.

Because of this minutes, Rio Films will pay R$ 850 thousand to the movie’s production. According to RioFilmes team, besides doing a turistic mershandising of Rio de Janeiro and Paraty, the production will leave US$ 3 millions in the region and create 500 jobs.

The agreement, that already has been agreed before the movie’s production arrived, stimulated the coming of the shooting production and has a counterpart the inclusion of at least 2 scenes of Rio’s postcard in the movie. Detail: the Lapa walk scene doesn’t exist in the book.

In Breaking Dawn book, by Stephenie Meyer, the couple Edward and Bella travel to Rio de Janeiro after their marriage, but goes directly to the fake ‘’Esme Isle’’, a private island bought by Edward’s father, Carlisle to his wife, Esme; and there they live their first love night. The island location will be in Paraty and Bella gets pregnant during the trip.
